EDSA (English Department Students Association) University of Kanjuruhan Malang, East Java, has implemented their annual work program “English for Society (EFS)” at Madrasah Aliyah Nassrudin, Dampit, on August, 18th to 20th 2015. This program has been running for two years and it was a combination program of EDSA Goes to School (EGS) and social devotion program which were derived from the result of mutual agreement at the time of Great Deliberation 2013. EDSA committee had to camp in Sumbersuko village, Dampit, Malang and gave free English course for children around EDSA’s Camp. More than 20 children came to get English course from EDSA. It shows that the society respected and was happy of their arrival.

At Madrasah Aliyah Nassrudin, EDSA got a positive feedback from the school community. It could be seen from the teachers and students’ responses. Most of the students were glad with the arrival of EDSA Unikama since they were able to take the lesson taught by EDSA from University of Kanjuruhan Malang. EDSA Committee taught the students of Madrasah Aliyah Nasruddin Dampit for 2 days. Then, in the last day EDSA made an outbond activity and it made fun before finishing the program. Moreover, Mohammad Ishar Anis, S.Pd, the vice president of students’ affair of MA Nassrudin said that he really appreciated this program and hoped it will be held again in the next year since it has positive impacts for students. He also added that the school is willing to let EDSA Unikama teach their students again (Yusi & Ike).
